Om RAW-bestanden vanuit je camera te openen heb je nog een extra stukje software nodig voordat je ze in Photoshop kunt openen. Soms is deze software meegeleverd en soms ook niet. Maar in Photoshop zit de software gewoon ingebakken. Adobe CameraRAW kan de meeste formaten aan. Zeker als je in de Creative Cloud zit kun je ze openen omdat je de laatste updates altijd bij de hand hebt. Deze video neemt je mee door de basis van de RAW-convertor. Bepaal makkelijk zelf je witbalans en pas belichtingen aan. Snap hoe over en onderbelichting werkt en open je foto op een manier dat je later altijd nog terug kunt.

Adobe Camera RAW (ACR) v15 just added one of the most exciting features since the creation of RAW processing itself: High Dynamic Range Output ("HDR" or "HDRO"). This name might be confusing because we've used the term "HDR" for years, but now that same name is being used for a completely different display technology. This is something physical, it requires a monitor capable of a minimum brightness of at least 400 nits. And when you see it, it is nothing short of spectacular. It's the most significant improvement in image display I've seen in decades. Adobe quietly announced a new update to Photoshop and Camera RAW. And this latest Camera RAW version comes with one interesting update that has for the most part gone under the radar. And this feature is HDR preview.
