Is Pipewire ready for your studio? Eh, maybe not yet! The Jack Audio Connection Kit still outperforms Pipewire at 64 samples buffer 44.1khz. This is roughly a 1.5 millisecond block latency, and represents about 3 milliseconds of round-trip latency. For live performance, or studios that rely heavily on midi input + software monitoring, I would personally stick with the realtime kernel, low latency tweaks, and jack audio connection kit. For hobbyists that would like to connect audio and midi devices with ease, Pipewire may be the better choice. In fact, it now comes standard with many Linux distributions. The addition of the pipewire-jack package and a patcher such as Carla make it a pretty stress-free setup for most. Some fine-tuned configuration will likely be necessary for decent latency when recording audio though, as pipewire defaults to 1024 samples (24 ms block latency, 48 ms round-trip). Decided to make myself a wire layer attachment for a 3-Point Sub-soiler. Just of 1.5" angle iron and 2" flat stock welded together so that it bolts to the sub-soiler. Then 1.25" PVC conduit wired to the back of the angle iron. Using the Case 741 tractor I was able to lay the wire down 12" underground. May be able to get lower with a different tractor. We have had lots of rain so the soil was perfect for Ripping thru with the sub-soiler. I might be able to use this for running 3/4" plastic pipe in the ground also.

Very quick, easy and cheap plastic pipe repair. Using the wire binding tool you are able to make a perfect repair on any size plastic pipes using the next bigger size pipe.Here I have used a Ø25mm piece to repair a Ø20mm plastic pipe.As you can see in the end it even holds pressure.We have upto 6 bars pressure in our municipal water supply.Imagine the savings? No more pipe joiners,hose clamps, just a piece of offcut!!! If you need to to join 2 different diameter pipes, no more reducers. I used 2mm galvanised steel wire.
