More of a proof of concept than a really good run, but hey, it's my first main series Super Robot Wars speedrun! While this is a New Game+ run (and therefore I can stomp everything immediately), I'm not entirely sure the route would be dramatically different from a fresh start. You'd still be wrecking everything with Okita and Ruri, but you couldn't pull off as many fun world tours. Maybe I'll route that someday just to see? Some run notes: - Protagonist choice is irrelevant, but I prefer Chitose so I picked her. - This run includes the Day One DLC, so I use Velt for combat from time to time. It probably costs time to have the DLC though, because Velt only truly shines on Scenario 31 and the DLC forces an extra map. - The kill count spread isn't ideal for this file, so I end up getting two secret scenarios: Black Mightgaine and Thought Patterns. If I cared enough, I'd set up a new file just for speedrun purposes that avoids both. Luckily, they are fairly short. - I botched the first map with Frontal (obviously). It was supposed to be a 1-turn. - I chose the "fighting is over" route simply for final battle ease. I never even bothered planning the other route, so I don't know if it would be that much more difficult. After all the world tours in the run, I think the single final boss objective is more fun anyway. Route notes here, if you're interested: 🤍

The Mycenae gods arrive, led by Hades. Ashura is revived with a new stronger body while giant Kedora are summoned. As the fight continues, Joe will arrive to help out and after Hades is defeated, he decides to get serious and recovers from all damage. Hades pushes Mazinger to its limits until it finally transforms into ZERO. ZERO then one-shots the poor fool into oblivion. Unfortunately, Kouji starts being consumed by ZERO and after killing Dr Hell, ZERO leaves the area, leaving everyone shocked all while Minerva X is observing the situation in the far distance. The EVA-01 goes berserk and takes out Sachiel. However, it has yet to shut down. Mazinger Z then takes on the berserk EVA-01 and after managing to stop it, dragons and the 5th Angel arrive. Rei and Shinji soon launch in their EVAs to deal with the Angel. Once all enemies are defeated, Tetsuya will leave the team while Rei, Shinji, Kouji, Sayaka and Boss join the team. Also, Rei meets Nine and the result is hilarious.
